Before FocusCFO
Prior to joining FocusCFO, Steve had a long career in the hedge fund space and was instrumental in forming several prestigious funds that had enduring successes. He specialized in private lending, capital structure arbitrage, distressed investing, and volatility trading. These areas required him to look deeply and study a company's finances and business model to determine how or if to invest. As a result, he has carefully analyzed many industries along with various company sizes, across different credit classes, to get a broad view of what companies must do to ensure success.
Steve has an M.S. in Financial Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin. He earned dual undergraduate B.S.E. degrees in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
