About
With over 25 years of diverse experience, Steve's career spans across numerous industries including energy, banking, healthcare, technology, retail, manufacturing, and non-profit. Steve began his career as a public company financial and technology auditor, gaining insight into how various organizations operated and created value. Transitioning to an internal audit role, he performed business process reviews and process improvement projects. Steve's leadership skills were honed through nearly a decade in senior roles with electric utilities in Nevada, North Carolina, and Arizona. He also spent over 10 years coaching CEOs and executives, helping businesses scale beyond start-up mode. An entrepreneur at heart, Steve has been involved in several startups throughout his career.

Before FocusCFO
Prior to joining FocusCFO, Steve was deeply engaged in a variety of sectors. His roles ranged from senior leadership positions in electric utilities across multiple states, to coaching CEOs and executives in scaling their businesses. Steve received his BS and MAcc (Master of Accountancy) from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT - a program ranked #2 in Accounting.
