About
Scott has more than 20 years of diverse business and finance experience prior to joining Focus CFO in 2024. Scott has served in senior-level roles across strategic finance, supply chain and corporate support. He has significant experience and success forging cross-team collaboration, building synergies, and creating value. Scott brings a focus on people and culture, fostering a continuous improvement mindset, listening to identify opportunities, and building high-performance, best-in-class teams.
Before FocusCFO
Scott began his career with KPMG (top tier consulting/accounting firm) with the majority of his time based in Chicago in the transactional services (M&A) consulting practice providing financial due diligence advisory services. Scott moved to Columbus, OH and spent 14 years at a large, publicly traded gas and electric energy company serving in senior level roles of increasing scope across finance, supply chain and business services.
Scott received his Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting, Cum Laude, from Miami University in Oxford, OH.
