About
Samuel has more than 20 years of financial and business development experience building sustainable business value, accelerating growth, and managing risk. His coverage areas span financial planning and analysis, business valuations, start-up growth strategies, M&A, restructuring, and project management. Samuel's track record includes closing financial deals with private investors and senior lenders and managing investor and bank relations.
Before FocusCFO
Samuel's professional experience includes Co-founder and CFO, VP of Global, and General Manager of Strategy and Planning in the technology, retail, and entertainment industries. Samuel also worked at Clermont Group making social investments and Houlihan Lokey as an investment banker. Samuel's most memorable job was serving in the Peace Corps as a Small Business Development Volunteer in Peru.
He received an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Economics and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS) from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
