Before FocusCFO
John has spent his career helping companies make more money from what they already do. He's worked inside some of the best-run manufacturers in the world, including Intel and Lam Research, where he learned how to track down waste, keep inventory under control, and make sure cash is there when it's needed. He's also been the CFO of an owner-led company, so he knows what it's like when the owner is the one who feels every decision.
Today, he brings that big-company discipline to growing businesses, in plain language and with practical steps that fit the size of the company.
John earned his MBA at UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School and his BA in Economics from the University of Virginia.
