About
John is a Senior Finance Executive with a diverse background that includes experience in financial services, transportation, logistics, supply chain management, and SaaS for US companies, as well as mineral extractive, mineral processing, and renewable energy (rural electrification) for startup companies in Tanzania, East Africa. John is a well-rounded executive with large, small, and startup company experience.
Before FocusCFO
After graduation, John worked for Ford Motor Credit Company in Dearborn, Michigan where he had several Finance Office (Treasury, Controller’s Office, System’s Office) positions and ex-pat assignments as CFO for joint ventures and subsidiaries in India, Thailand, and Korea. He also was Assistant Treasurer, Global Operations, for a transportation and logistics company and CFO for a SaaS startup in Cincinnati. Most recently he has been a hands-on Angel investor in Tanzania for several startups.
