Before FocusCFO
Derek is an accomplished finance executive with experience in Fortune 500 (GE, J&J, FIS, Adecco) as well as privately held companies. He specializes in financial strategy, systems implementation, and process optimization. Known for his ability to lead cross-functional teams, his expertise spans areas such as financial consolidation, budgeting, cost control, and M&A activities. He has successfully improved operational efficiency, managed international financial reporting, and implemented automated systems to streamline accounting functions.
Derek received his International MBA from the University of South Carolina and previously a BA in Economics from the University of Georgia.
