Dan brings more than 30 years of executive finance and M&A experience to FocusCFO, following a career that spans entrepreneurship, private equity, and corporate consulting. He helps business owners strengthen financial foundations, create cash flow predictability, and build transferable enterprise value. His experience extends across manufacturing, industrials, SaaS, healthcare, and energy—guiding companies in improving profitability, enhancing transparency, and positioning for sustainable growth or eventual exit. Known for his collaborative and hands-on approach, Dan integrates strategic finance, forecasting, and value optimization to support long-term success.

Before FocusCFO

Before joining FocusCFO, Dan held senior finance and operational leadership roles, including CFO, COO, and strategic advisor across a range of industries. He was a founding shareholder and CFO of Advantium, where he helped scale the company and later led its successful sale to Accenture. Dan also held leadership roles with global consulting firms such as Accenture and IBM Global Business Services, bringing enterprise-level strategy, analytics, and performance management disciplines to mid-market companies. He has also partnered with private-equity-backed businesses, including ARS Recycling Systems and Middough Inc., to strengthen financial governance, improve cash flow visibility, and prepare for growth and transition.

Throughout his career, Dan has bridged the worlds of entrepreneurship, private equity, and corporate consulting—bringing business owners the practical experience, tools, and insights needed to build scalable, transferable value.

Dan earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business.
