About
Chuck has over 35 years of finance and operations leadership experience including over twenty years in structured finance, multi-million dollar real estate acquisitions, public REIT equity offerings, and growing small international import businesses. He also has 22 years of intense operational leadership. He’s been a key player in the acquisition of over $2.6 billion of real estate, long-haul private jet aircraft, and small businesses. Chuck brings a practical approach to solving financial and operational business problems.

Before FocusCFO
Prior to FocusCFO, Chuck helped build a small entrepreneurial business to $6 million in revenue, served as a Partner at a private commercial real estate investment firm that acquired over $2.6 million in commercial office, hotel, and ground lease properties, and completed a 22 year career as a nuclear submarine officer that culminated in command of the USS Honolulu, a Los Angeles class fast attack submarine stationed in Pearl Harbor. Chuck holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
What attracted you to FocusCFO?
As the CFO and a Managing Partner of a small business, I struggled with a financial team that had difficulty providing accurate, timely financial statements and who then could not interpret them.
