Before FocusCFO

Prior to joining FocusCFO, Daniel served as an audit manager at Deloitte before moving to a Chief Financial Officer role at a mid-size printing and distribution company owned by a Private Equity firm. Upon successfully developing a plan for divestiture, he led the operating company team involved with the negotiations with the three successful buyers. He then became the Chief Financial Officer at a privately held company which performs third party manufacturing assembly for Fortune 500 companies. His 17-year tenure was dominated by assisting in the process of business maturation from a highly entrepreneurial to a data driven decision making environment.
Daniel is proud to be a US Navy veteran and grateful to receive GI Bill benefits which afforded him the opportunity to receive a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

    Other Interests

    • What is your favorite way to spend free time? Golf and spectator sports-especially when the grandchildren are playing.
    • What is your favorite movie?  My favorite movie is Forrest Gump. The time period it covers, the balance of comedy, drama and romance...the musical score … just a wonderful movie.
    • Something most people don't know about you  I was offered a position by the Harlem Globetrotters

What attracted you
to FocusCFO?

My favorite part of Deloitte was the exposure to different businesses, their owners, and helping that business if I could. FocusCFO presents me with the same opportunity.
