Scott is a Fractional CFO for FocusCFO and has over 40 years experience in accounting, finance, treasury and operations working directly with entrepreneurs and publicly held companies including start-ups and family owned businesses. Scott has experience in the manufacturing, distribution, financial services, construction and service repair industries. Scott has in depth experience in the areas of corporate accounting, financial modeling and forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, credit facility negotiation, mergers and acquisitions due diligence, QofE, treasury management, internal controls, sales & use tax and ERP systems implementation. Scott has strong leadership, team building and executive experience.
Before FocusCFO
Prior to joining FocusCFO, Scott served in several senior management roles as CFO, Vice President of Finance, Controller and other management positions in both privately held and publicly reporting companies. Scott began his career in Big 4 public accounting.
Scott received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati. He also served as a lead instructor for the Becker CPA Review Course in the Dayton and Cincinnati metropolitan areas.
- What is your favorite way to spend free time? Outdoor activities - running, hiking, swimming, golfing, camping.
- What was your favorite vacation? Sightseeing and hiking the Pacific Northwest.
- What is at the top of your "bucket list"? An Alaskan cruise with my wife.
