Ron Trombetta

Ronald R. Trombetta is a senior level financial professional with 35 years of experience in finance and accounting, the last seven as Senior Vice President & CFO of FedEx Ground (formerly RPS). He was instrumental in the start up and dynamic growth of this multi billion dollar transportation company serving in progressively higher positions until his retirement in 2005. Prior to joining RPS in 1984, Trombetta was in the manufacturing industry having spent 10 years with Rockwell International and 2 years with PPG Industries. Some of Trombetta’s previous positions include: Senior VP & CFO, VP Finance, Group Controller, Director Financial Planning & Administration, Manager Financial Planning, Supervisor Accounting, Plant Accountant and Senior Financial Analyst.

Trombetta received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Accounting from Duquesne University and a Master of Science in Business Administration degree from Robert Morris University.

Since retiring in 2005, Trombetta has been an adjunct faculty instructor at Robert Morris University, has served on multiple advisory boards and with his other two principals, David Gerschultz and Ivan Hofmann, founded ETC & Associates, LLC.
