    Other Interests

    • What is your favorite way to spend free time? I have a wide variety of interests. I enjoy traveling - both in the US and internationally. I love to read - especially history, biography, anthropology, art. I play piano - both jazz and classical. And, I love to spend time with my family - my wife and I have 3 kids - and we especially enjoy hiking.
    • What did you want to be when you grew up? I always thought I would be a musician. I spent the first few years in college as a piano performance major in the jazz department and had my own jazz trio for several years before switching to business.
    • What was your favorite vacation? My wife and I traveled to Umbria, Italy. We arrived with few plans, rented a car and improvised for 10 days, making lots of serendipitous discoveries that we still talk about many years later.

What attracted you
to FocusCFO?

I am a builder. I enjoy working alongside other entrepreneurs to realize opportunities. I thrive in ambiguity, like to tackle the unknown, and look for opportunities to create structure where none exists. I enjoy building teams and creating enduring relationships. I look forward to joining teams where I can bring value from my experience.
