Susan is a finance executive who is purposeful about identifying activities and behaviors that translate to profitability and she is passionate about helping teams see how their day-to-day decisions impact the numbers. Acting as the liaison between front line and leadership, Susan steers managers towards the metrics that matter. She effectively communicates risks, opportunities, and results. She remains down-to-earth with 30+ years of experience ranging from cost accounting to acquisition modeling to board leadership in a variety of industries from manufacturing to telecom to non-profit. Susan partners with her colleagues and enjoys unlocking profitability by challenging the status quo, inspiring leaders, and driving efficiencies across the organization. In her free time, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, reading non-fiction and traveling.

Before FocusCFO

Before joining FocusCFO, Susan served in a variety of finance and management roles across a wide range of industries from a niche automotive upfitter The Shyft Group, to a global automotive supplier Tenneco, to a cable/wireless/landline operator Shenandoah Telecommunications, to a leader in semi-conductor test equipment technologies Teradyne, and many others. Susan has also served on several non-profit boards including Habitat for Humanity and Monroe Catholic Elementary School.

Susan earned an Executive M.B.A. from Lake Forest GSM in Illinois and a Dual B.S. in Economics and Finance from Bentley University in Massachusetts.

    • What was your favorite vacation?  Three weeks in Thailand hiking, scuba diving and sight seeing.
    • What is at the top of your "bucket list"?  My husband and I look forward to being active grandparents, swimming, hiking and playing games with many grandchildren (some day)!
