Mark has been a leader in the Central Indiana business community for more than 30 years. With a broad range of business finance and operating experience, he has served companies and business owners through his roles in public accounting, management consulting, industry finance including CFO, as well as time spent advising high net worth individuals on personal and small business financial and succession planning. He has given his time and talent to numerous organizations including Financial Executives International and several groups in the local performing arts community. Mark and his wife Cara have two daughters and reside in Carmel, Indiana.
Before FocusCFO
Mark has extensive experience in senior financial roles in both public and private companies and has led several finance team transformations, ERP system implementations, acquisition integration and divestitures, initial public offerings, and has consulted with both large and small companies on a myriad of financial and operational initiatives. Most recently he was CFO of a privately held senior living developer and manager with 40 communities in nine states and more than 1,000 employees.
- What is your favorite book? Anything by David McCullough but especially "Truman" which took him ten years to research and write and clocks in at over 1,000 pages.
- Who/what is your favorite musical artist/or song? I am a big Grateful Dead fan and luckily was able to see them three times in the early 1990s. Have since gone to many concerts from the related groups like Dead and Co.
- What was your favorite vacation? In 2019 we spent a week in Paris and we were able to rent a car and drive out to the small town where Vincent Van Gogh painted, died, and is buried.

After five years in one industry and at this time in my life, I have a strong desire to help entrepreneurs scale their businesses and improve processes that will create sustainable transferable value and FocusCFO has the best model and team to accomplish this goal.
