Partnering Opportunities : Group CFOs
We are seeking individuals who are either presently providing CFO and Controller services to small/medium size businesses, or who want to begin providing these services. At this time, our market covers Central Ohio, including communities within approximately seventy-five (75) miles of Columbus, Ohio. We are presently evaluating other markets.
Individuals face numerous challenges when providing CFO and Controller services on their own the difficulties revolve around the need to balance demands in business development and client support as well as the costs related to administration, networking, recruiting and marketing.
By working within our group, you will have access to individuals who are providing similar services, plus you will have the materials and tools to help you with marketing, business development, ongoing recruiting and personnel support. We also provide administrative support within the group with respect to legal matters, internal administration, business insurance and recruiting of personnel to work for you with clients.

Responsibilities
Your primary efforts will involve business development and providing ongoing services to clients, both of which are essential to your success. You will benefit from (1) limiting your costs for marketing and administration to a manageable amount and (2) eliminating needs for spending your time in non-billable administration areas.
Qualified individuals will generally have at least 15 years experience in senior level accounting and finance, including significant CFO and Controller experience. In addition, you should either be providing these services currently or planning to begin to develop small business CFO/Controller services in your local area. You must have an ability to sell and positively develop your business in your local market.

Candidate Profile
- BS or BA degree in accounting or a related field with at least 15 or more years of accounting or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a small business (under $25 million in sales) is helpful.
- Significant CFO or Controller-level experience.
- Well-rounded in your accounting background with familiarity with all accounting and finance functions.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and Word and familiarity with accounting packages (e.g. QuickBooks, Peachtree, MAS90, Great Plains, etc).
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work directly with business owners.
- Business development skills including identifying and working with potential clients is a must.
