
Candidate Profile
To be successful with Focus, you need the ability to deliver a high level of CFO Services to clients and also to help expand our client base. In other words, you need the drive to sell your services and the experience to do the work.
Generally, this means having at least 15 years experience in senior level finance and accounting, including significant CFO and/or Controller experience. You should be current and up-to-date on local businesses and their needs, as well as on market trends and information.
We currently cover Central Ohio, extending to communities within a 75-mile radius, although we are evaluating other markets, as well. Consequently, you must have an understanding of the area and the ability to sell and positively develop your business in your local market.
CFO Candidate Profile
- BS or BA degree in accounting or a related field with 15 or more years of accounting or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a small business (under $25 million in sales) is helpful
- Significant CFO experience
- Well-rounded knowledge of all finance administration and accounting functions
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and Word and familiarity with accounting packages
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work directly with business owners and entrepreneurs
