Larry Walker
Larry Walker joined FocusCFO as a Partner in August 2011. Larry began his finance and accounting career at Ford Motor Company as a Financial Analyst. Over the 12 years he worked at Ford/Visteon, Larry progressed to the position of Controller and Industrial Engineering Director of one of the largest and most profitable manufacturing sites in the Visteon system. Larry’s most recent position prior to joining FocusCFO was CFO of Superior Fibers. With $65 million in annual revenue Superior Fibers is a market leader in the production of fiberglass media. Larry has held executive positions with several other manufacturing and distribution organizations including North American Bus Industries, Blue Bird and Chemical Systems Corporation.
Larry has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and warehousing/distribution holding positions in operations as well as finance. Larry is a hands on leader that specializes in achieving operational efficiencies, continuous process improvement, financial budgeting/forecasting (variance analysis) and implementation and tracking of Key Performance Indictors (KPI’s). Larry also has extensive experience working within joint ventures, organization structuring, strategic planning, public financing/economic development and operational startups.
Larry received his B.S. in Finance from Wayne State University, in Detroit, Mi.
